Our work is grounded in the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) framework—a globally proven approach that links gender equality to conflict prevention, democratic resilience, and lasting peace. While WPS has shaped international peace and security efforts for decades, its tools have rarely been applied to strengthening democracy at home. We bring those lessons into the U.S. context.
By connecting women leaders and activists in the United States with those around the world who have confronted democratic decline firsthand, we help movements respond to rising threats before they escalate.
Expanding Awareness & Engagement
The U.S. has a deep legacy of human rights, civil rights, women’s equality, and violence-prevention activism. As democratic norms rapidly erode and political violence rises, people across the country are seeking new ways to meet these evolving challenges. WPS offers a powerful, tested framework for doing so. We make WPS accessible and actionable through media engagement, trainings, storytelling, and educational resources—connecting U.S. movements to global leaders and strategies that strengthen democracy and counter authoritarianism.
